Every year, Kebtah hosts its Annual Pilgrimage to the sacred and historical sites in the cradle of civilization.
This expedition is open to anyone wishing to experience a deep immersion into the indigenous customs and practices of humanity’s Motherland.
Pilgrims will have the opportunity to :
Originally men and women from all over the world would journey to sacred sites in the Nile Valley to honor humanity’s spiritual history and sacred monuments. This was known as the Misra pilgrimage and on this expedition, pilgrims would visit meaningful sites common to humanity’s shared history in our pursuit of a life of quality.
Migrants from the Nile Valley carried with them many of the aspects of the temple societies and important technologies to other parts of the African continent. Until recent history, men and women continued to journey to the Nile Valley, often on foot, to honor these original sites. Now pilgrims journey to areas in their region which represent the continuation of that living culture and its sites of spiritual and historical significance.
Kebtah’s mission is to preserve and promote the foundational principles of human civilization rooted in Africa. While modern religious movements have popularized the idea of pilgrimage, they often overlook Africa’s significance as humanity’s Motherland. Kebtah aims to revive this original spiritual tradition.
