Iritah Shenmira NABA sits coolly and relaxed on the couch as if he doesn’t have a care in the world. Enigmatic and unpredictable, he is true to that nature in the way his body language is relaxed, he’s almost waiting for a lemonade on a hot summer day as if engaging in small talk. Far from the frigid Windy City weather outside and the austere analysis of the world, he’s about to unleash. His choice of words are incisive and spike a dagger straight to the heart of things. Although vehement, his words are never forced or strenuous. The excerpt below is the second question and answer of many he fielded during our lengthy interview. Due to the copious amount of content this interview will be broken down and released in parts between the Firefly and Sunnyside. In today’s spiritual climate, the phrase ‘honor your ancestors’ is thrown around a lot by many organizations and individuals that never actually champion the ancestors, but this time it’s not a euphemism. He shares without breaking flow for he’s not speaking for himself, he speaks for the ancestors he came from, urging for him to be their spokesperson and for the prophecies uttered and passed down from generations ago in the temples that are behind him.

Wisam: “What are some ways that you would like to see The Earth Center interacting with the world in the coming years?”

Naba: “That’s a big question, because the way The Earth Center functions, the Earth Center is a very powerful spiritual organization and its power resides in its own teachings, ambitions, and mission. Our mission statement is very clear, we just want to promote human qualities, ingenuity, and values that human beings had before our time. Particularly before the European woke up one day and thought he could conquer other worlds; before the Arab thought, just because they are living in the desert, they want to go conquer other people to survive; Before the Greeks thought about going to learn within our ancestor’s temples; Before the Romans thought they had the killing machines, that can conquer any force or army on the planet. We just want the world to go back to that.

Master Naba used to say “every human being regardless of their color, has to sit and face the TV screen or open a window and look at the world as it is. Then, if you think there’s nothing wrong with this world and humanity, then you are an accomplice to what is happening on the planet and with humanity.”

We went from civilization to savagery, from spirituality to anti-spirituality, philosophy to anti-philosophy, nature to anti-nature, it’s almost like human beings are becoming against ourselves. We (at The Earth Center) don’t think and believe that the Gods created us with the brain they did, capable with all the ability we have, the intelligence they gave us, for us to go from humanity to human beings because at some point human beings, were high. We were closer to the world of the gods, purity, moral qualities and all of that. But to see humanity where we are today, it is easy for someone to shoot someone or stuff with a gun, hate or destroy someone’s image solely based on emotions, or what they feel is wrong or right as opposed to principles.

So, our mission statement or will is to see this world, or this planet, the way our master wanted to see it. He put it simply: “the world we want to see is up to us to build it”. Now, if we feel like this is the world that we want to see for the future, then as human beings, we’re doomed. Because we know all know where this is heading. We’re not going to have anything left, not even heritage. We’re not going to have anything good left for our descendants to come and enjoy just like the way those before us left something that we are enjoying or even destroying. So, the interaction we want to have and our mission with the rest of the world or for the rest of human beings is very simple. You don’t come to The Earth Center to change it. That’s why we call it The Earth Center, because in Medu or hieroglyphs, It’s Kebtah. Now why do we call it that? Because the roots of this mission did not start yesterday. It’s a very old mission, dating back to the time of the Pharaohs in the Nile Valley.

In every generation in the history of humanity there are always people who are chosen to enlighten the path for humanity. Some of those people travel around the world speaking, teaching, and healing other humans. But about 2000 years ago humanity rebelled against the will of the gods going against the outline of the becoming existence as perceived by the Priesthood of The Mystery Schools (the temples) in Heptahka (Memphis) and Uast (Thebes). We feel compelled to express our pride and jubilation to know that our master Neb Naba Lamoussa Morodenibig is one of those individuals.

Master Naba once told us “I only have one bad luck and that is being born African. Because if I was born European, Arab, or Asian then the whole world would have been shouting loudly that a new prophet just arrived!” Hearing him say that and now seeing the rest of the world being able to enjoy the fruits of his labor with the quality of his teachings, work and sacrifices. Our cultures and royalties are now resolved to claim that we have our own prophet. Just like the rest of all the invaders and imitators.

Wisam Mubasher on his recent visit to the Tem Lands hosted by The Earth Center non-profit organization.

2000 years ago the invaders destroyed almost everything including all of our archives and research then stole, looted, and burned our ancestors discoveries and achievements in the fields of Astronomy, Medicine, Physics, Geometry, Mathematics, Philosophy and Spirituality. Then forced the rest of the world through domination and barbarism onto the path that led us to where we are today. Where no one cares about anyone else. People don’t even talk to other humans anymore, humans prefer staring at the sun or a relationship with animals rather than other humans. You can see with this path that was chosen 2000 years ago that we went from being humans to animals. We even went lower than animals.  Animals won’t even go to the point that we did and that’s just the reality of things today. So that’s the reason why we think that The Earth Center is welcome wherever we are or wherever we go because we are bringing something that human beings forgot or haven’t seen in ages.

And yet people aren’t even that far removed from it because even to the uninitiated, somehow when they go to sleep, they dream and their spirit travels into the non-material and other dimensions show them that there’s other ways of being or other ways of doing things. This is what the Earth Center is in possession of.

At the same time this is a mission that’s very old. Older than the civilization that we call the modern civilization. And it was preserved, because at some point this message/mission had to hide in secret in order to reconvene and self-preserve. And now it’s coming back. So, this is what we’re doing right now, we’re not at The Earth Center expecting anyone to come into this fight and adapt to its values. But the Earth Center does expect the original fighters. Those who somehow during the course of existence already served and sacrificed their lives or dedicated themselves to this mission, to fight.

If those I mentioned happen to be reincarnating again or happened to be walking on this planet again. (Because we believe in reincarnation in our culture) So, if they happen to be here, then yes, we expect those individuals to be standing here and saying “OK, let me pick up from where I left off last time.” But somehow, we ended up having other people who are friends or spectators sitting there feeling like “I want to be part of that too”, we won’t turn anyone away, so they are welcome to pick up the mantle and fight, but they quickly come to find that this path takes more than just guts to be part of it. It takes a lot more, it takes a big history behind you. For you to be able to achieve on this path. So, we don’t have any expectations when it comes to the interaction with the rest of the world.

Because the mission is bigger than this modern civilization, it’s a mission that’s blessed by the gods, ancestors and divinities. It’s a mission that’s welcomed by all of nature, the mountains, rivers, forests, and animals welcome it. Everything welcomes this mission because it’s for the upliftment of human qualities and the preservation of what the gods created, the outline that they used to build what we have today.  We stand for preservation, not for expectations. So there’s no expectation for any interaction with the rest of the world. Because it’s for the rest of the world to sit quietly and see what the Earth Center is achieving and then decide if they want to be part of this.

It’s not on us, we don’t have anything to envy today because whatever we are in possession of predates whatever the modern societies have. If you want to talk about big structures, whether its skyscrapers, gigantic buildings, or bridges, we have that. Go to the Nile Valley, go to any of the places that our ancestors-built thousands and thousands of years ago.  We have things like that, but we know where that road leads, and if you ask where did that take us?  It took us from being human to being less than human. So, we reconvened and said “we’re finished investigating the material existence, let us now investigate the non-material existence.”

Because we know that this universe is not empty. Apart from what we see, feel, and touch, we know that there are other things that exist so let’s investigate that. Today, people talk a lot about the pyramids in the Nile Valley, Stonehenge, the pyramids in South America, Australia, and Indonesia. Those big structures our Ancestors built long before the European woke up and learned how to wash his clothes and how to use soap. Then suddenly with them being animated with the principles of evil and destruction, “I want it. I can take it the easy way or the hard way, if not I destroy” And then if they can’t take it the easy way then let’s use destruction and take it.  I’m not against Europeans, I’m only stating facts. You can look at all the history books and you will see that everywhere the European goes, it’s “destroy, kill, destroy, kill, steal” then move elsewhere to do the same. And that’s isn’t ancient history, it’s still happening today! Look at the European countries, whether it’s England, France, Belgium, you name it and lest we forget their baby, America. Even China is jumping in the game: They want it, you give it, or they’re going to take it. You don’t give it to them, they’re still going to take it because they can. And we know this because these are the things we went through.

We don’t have anything to envy when it comes to the modern society. We don’t expect this mission that we are carrying out to have anything to do with it but we hope that the modern society and its institutions will see it one day and look at what we’re doing and respect it. Maybe they don’t like us but at least they will respect and recognize that what we’re doing is great for our society and in turn their ideologies, and philosophies will change. We just want them to see that.  Because our mission is a spiritual and cultural fight, not a fight of flesh and blood. We’re not fighting a specific political system, person, country, or institutionalized ideology, or anything for that matter, we’re just working to be what we were before these new ideologies took us away from where we were to where we are today.

Baba Kondoh, a well-known high priest of Central Togo who was also carrying the mission that would be inherited by his nephew Master Naba and incorporated as The Earth Center.
